BEHIND THE SCENES
- I changed from editing the magazine in Canva to InDesign!! I feel like a real magazine designer now. I loved canna, and the free, easily accessible clipart was very helpful. However, it was time for me to take a stab at InDesign, which is an industry standard for print material.
- I absolutely love magazine design, so I’m starting my own magazine collection to inspire me. I purchased a copy of Delight & Be, which is also a Christian magazine (it’s supposed to come this week and I’m pumped!!). I also grabbed a copy of Bella Grace when I went to Barnes & Noble lately. Their journaling prompt sections are what inspired me to make our own.
- I think I uploaded this thing like five times to Blurb (the place I purchase physical copies of the magazine) and Yumpu (the online magazine software I use so you guys can view it as a digital magazine).
