What to bring as a counselor
- Bring a plastic clipboard that opens and closes to keep papers and stuff
- Trash bags (to put your backpack in if you get caught in a torrential downpour; keep 1-2 in your backpack at all times)
- Ziploc bags (to put your Bible and notebook in so they don’t get wet)
- Index cards (have the girls write their names and other info the first night)
- Extra clothes (Goodwill; in case the girls don’t have the right clothes)
- Extra pens (for them to take notes)
- Hairdo ideas (lol)
- Bandaids
- More shirts and shorts than you think you’ll need
- Snacks
- Lots of cards to give to friends
How to prepare spiritually as a camper
- Journal for the month before.
- Make spiritual goals. Who do you want to be when you leave camp?
- Ask God to reveal any sin areas in your life.
- Ask your counselor if they see any areas where you can improve!
- Take notes at all services/workshops.
