I do love me a good updates post!! Exciting things are happening over here.
One of the biggest things is that while you can still get most digital issues of our magazine free online, issues published in 2019 and forever after will be $5.
That means that, if you want to read the Purpose issue, the Victory issue, the upcoming Identity issue, or any future issue, you’ll be popping over to our shop and picking it up in PDF form!
I decided it was time to make this change because, if you consider all the hours that go into it and people can just look at the 60 pages for free . . .
- Articles take at least thirty minutes to write, and there’s at least six
- Photography takes who knows how many hours, and we use multiple photographers!
- Illustrations are taking about three hours
- For me to put it together, it’s roughly ten hours
So, yeah. If you love OBO, you can know that you’re directly supporting us by purchasing digital issues! And if you buy more than one, you save money. <3 Thanks in advance! All profits are going right back to OBO so we can print more copies and market.
ALSO!! Hold up, I literally forgot what the second thing is . . . oh yeah!!
We’re considering creating a print magazine subscription.
So that means that you get the final four 2019 issues of OBO on your doorstep for $40!! We just need 15-20 people to commit so we can lower printing costs and get you each issue for basically $7. Btw, that subscription does include shipping!!

All right, so, in other news . . . we’re gearing up to release the Identity issue. Keep your eyes fixated on your inboxes in the next few weeks. I really just want to hold the magazine in my hands RIGHT. NOW.
