“What do you do in your free time?”
The question always catches me a little off guard. I feel like I should start out with simple things: watching thunderclouds roll in, making banana bread, embroidering flowers on jean jackets, making coffee from my sister’s French press.
But what I really do sounds strange; it can’t be a simple sentence, a passing phrase, a “oh okay that’s cool” and onto the next topic.
I always hesitate to tell people because it takes up so much of the conversation, but I’ve learned that’s okay. Because Oh Beloved One always gives me a chance to share with people how AMAZING my God is. It’s a chance to tell people about the mosaic of writers, artists, and photographers that have made this ministry what it is.
So, here’s the story. Words can never capture the entire scope of what it is or has been or will become. But this is me trying.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
